Luxurious and inspiring, our four guest suites — custom designed by interior designer Holly Jonsson and featuring a carefully selected curation of locally rooted art — are an intimate respite ideal for artists, travelers, and design connoisseurs alike. Historic finishes, natural light, and views of the Little Village add to the warmth and comfort of each.
The Amenities
At ALEO, each suite comes complete with sumptuous Hawkins New York linen sheets and luxurious Le Labo toiletries. In addition, guests can enjoy the symphonic splendor of a Tivoli Audio Bluetooth speaker, custom ALEO robes and slippers, a locally grown wildflower arrangement, original hardwood flooring, and air conditioning in each room. Complimentary bikes are also available for use in exploring the community. A two-guest maximum occupancy applies to each suite.

Here at ALEO, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of luxurious conveniences that include private and communal outdoor spaces, complimentary bikes, an historic fireplace, and pastries artfully crafted by a James Beard award-winning chef.
Deck
Enjoy the sculptural vistas of the Charles McGee Legacy Park and surrounding greenspaces from the comfort of ALEO’s various patios. Just off the dining room, a large communal deck with tables and seating are available for all guests to enjoy. A private 200 sq ft terrace off the Lion Suite and a private 100 sq ft patio off the Angel Suite offer guests a more intimate environment to admire the scenery. Complimentary lounge furniture graces both spaces.
Bikes
With two complimentary — and locally made — Detroit Bikes available throughout one’s stay, guests can explore everything from the Riverwalk to the Frederick Law Olmsted-designed Belle Isle Park or any of the other inspiring neighborhoods and destinations nearby.
Fireplace
The library is defined not only by contemporary art and carefully selected furnishings but by a gas-lit fireplace that punctuates the center. It features original tiles crafted by Pewabic Pottery – a local and historic ceramic studio and school.
Local Pastries
At check-in, guests will receive a gift card to purchase a breakfast menu item of their choosing from James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Warda Bouguetta’s adjacent pâtisserie, WARDA. From a savory smoked salmon and labneh chausson to a sweet selection of financiers, guests can select from a variety of delicacies (subject to change) to indulge in.
