Rooted in the arts and anchored by community, Little Village is a cultural oasis centered around the Shepherd, ALEO, its publicly accessible greenspace and independent neighborhood businesses.

From the innovative vision of Library Street Collective co-founders and partners Anthony and JJ Curis, Little Village is an inclusive destination aimed at revitalizing Detroit’s east side. From public programming and live performances to world-class exhibitions, award-winning eateries, creative retail, recording studios, waterfront access, and more, guests are sure to enjoy the plethora of art-focused events, activities, and sights to behold within this reenergized district.

ALEO is nestled in the heart of Little Village, a cultural corridor anchored by the Shepherd. This new community-focused center, located on Detroit’s east side, features recently reactivated spaces and destinations — each with its own creative purpose.

The Restaurants

Fostering an intimate immersion into the Little Village community and that of the city of Detroit at large, the space will cater to visitors from near and far who seek more than just a place to stay, but hold a desire to build an authentic connection with their destination. This is a short intro.
