Dining at ALEO

Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a one-of-a-kind sip, options are plentiful near ALEO. On site, a state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen is available for private dining upon request. Located in the Shepherd’s former garage and just steps away from ALEO, Father Forgive Me is the much-anticipated cocktail bar from Joe Robinson and Anthony Curis, the partners behind downtown Detroit’s widely popular staples Standby, Deluxx Fluxx, and The Skip. Nearby, guests looking to indulge in some French fare will savor the James Beard Award-winning delicacies from Warda Bouguettaya, whose latest tour de force is housed within the adjacent BridgeHouse.

The Pâtisserie

It was with no surprise that Warda Bouguettaya of Detroit’s Warda Pâtisserie won the prestigious James Beard Award for Outstanding Pastry Chef in 2022 as her magnificent confections are heralded by all. This year, Bouguettaya brings her brilliance to Little Village with a brand-new pâtisserie, WARDA, housed in the recently renovated BridgeHouse — a former farmhouse transformed by the Detroit-based design firm, Undecorated, and located adjacent to the skatepark.
